Alterations and extension to the Grade II Listed Manor House in Milton Bryan.

An elegant 2.7m x 5m glazed sliding door with triangular roof light open the extension to the views of the landscaped garden and 27m tall Giant Redwood tree.

The extension replaces an existing modern conservatory and connects the kitchen and breakfast room, creating an open, social space from which to enjoy the garden and the rest of the house.

The contemporary extension is located in a discrete corner on the north side of the house.  The diagonal plan form is derived from the relationship to the elevated tree that dominates the view and adds drama as the full height is glimpsed through the roof light.
