Lower End Farm

A contemporary barn conversion and link building to a grade II listed farmhouse in the Thornborough Conservation Area.

The design strategy is to provide a link building that accommodates a new dining and social space that is articulated from the existing traditional structures.

The link building is predominantly glazed to the garden with elements of horizontal oak weather boarding. The roof is planted with sedum turf to provide a pleasant outlook from the existing dorma window to the farmhouse.
