Marshall Studio

A stand alone industrial unit, part of the Marshall Amplifications factory complex has been converted into a world class recording studio with a large demonstration/performance area.

The concrete portal frame structure was previously adapted in the 1990’s for use as the ‘Marshall Theatre’ and used as test area, a place for corporate functions and to host local 'battle of the band' events.

The existing unit was dilapidated and did not perform acoustically.

The building fabric upgrade includes internal acoustic linings, new mechanical and electrical services, new lighting, and modifications to improve access and egress. The alterations include the Installation of a recording control room with a Neve 8048 - a classic 70’s desk, at its heart.

The main space is licensed for performance and can accommodate 250 people.
